New Delhi, Nov 15 – Delhi Police are stepping up the hunt for clues after the deadly blast that killed Dr Umar on November 10.

The Crime Branch has now filed two new First Information Reports (FIRs) against Al Falah University, the educational institution that may have links to the suspect’s activities. One FIR accuses the university of cheating, while the other points to possible forgery.

A police team entered the university’s Okhla campus on Saturday to collect documents. The visit followed a formal notice that Delhi Police had sent, and it forms part of a larger probe into irregularities tied to people connected with the university.

Other evidence is emerging from Nuh, the small town where Dr Umar’s body was found. Witnesses say he was seen loitering near the Goyal Ultrasound Centre for several hours before the blast. The investigator’s team says he rented a room behind the centre for ten days, a place he got with the help of an electrician named Shoeb, who works at Al Falah.

Following the blast, Delhi Police, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) of Nuh joined forces to raid the rented room. The property was locked, but police say it could hold key evidence about Dr Umar’s movements and the people he met.

CCTV footage from the ultrasound centre is under close inspection. Early reports show the i20 car that exploded appears on the tape, which could help investigators reconstruct the chain of events.

The NIA and Haryana Police are actively sweeping Nuh and nearby areas. Their aim is to locate anyone who may have dealt with Dr Umar or who could have ties to the bomb plot.

With fresh questions surfacing about Al Falah University and new leads in Nuh, the investigation into the Delhi bomb blast is expanding fast. Police continue to chase every possible clue, hoping to uncover who planned the attack and how it was carried out.
