Supreme Power Equipment Limited Strengthens Presence with INR 34.18 Cr Orders

Supreme Power Equipment Limited (SPEL), a key player in manufacturing power and distribution transformers, just scored three big orders worth about ₹34.18 crore over the past two weeks. This boost shows SPEL gaining ground in India’s power sector, with its first-ever deal in Telangana and more momentum in Karnataka.

The standout win came from a top engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firm in Telangana. Received on September 22, 2025, this ₹19.82 crore contract calls for eight 20 MVA power transformers rated at 110/33-11 KV. SPEL aims to deliver them within six months. It’s a huge milestone—the company’s debut in Telangana signals rising demand for reliable power solutions there, and SPEL expects to build on this soon.

On the same day, September 22, 2025, SPEL picked up a ₹4.34 crore repeat order from another respected EPC company in Karnataka. This one involves supplying seven power and distribution transformers, also due within six months. It highlights SPEL’s growing trust among clients in the state for steady power infrastructure projects.

Earlier, on September 8, 2025, the company landed a ₹10.02 crore deal from a leading power firm in Karnataka. The scope includes four high-capacity 20 MVA transformers—two at 66/11 KV and two at 110/33-11 KV—for new setups. Delivery is set for the next six months.

These deals underline SPEL’s knack for handling varied transformer needs in the power sector. Now, the company’s standalone order book hits ₹214.21 crore, while its 90% owned subsidiary, Danya Electric Company, adds ₹16.23 crore. That brings the total consolidated order book to ₹230.44 crore, setting up solid growth ahead.

Mr. Vee Rajmohan, SPEL’s Chairman and Managing Director, shared his excitement: “These contracts mark an important step forward for the company. Securing our first order from Telangana expands our footprint into a new state, while the Karnataka orders further strengthen our role in supporting critical power infrastructure. The mix of high-capacity power transformers and distribution units demonstrates the confidence that clients place in our technical expertise and execution capabilities. We are fully committed to delivering these orders within the agreed timelines, with the quality and reliability that define our work. With the consolidated order book now standing at ₹230.44 crore, we see strong momentum ahead and remain focused on building further growth opportunities across India.”
