Jaipur, Dec 3 (LatestNewsX) – Rajasthan has once again proven that when meticulous planning, cutting‑edge technology, and synchronized execution come together, outstanding results surface. The state tops the nation in the current Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise, setting a new standard for the rest of India.
Chief Electoral Officer Naveen Mahajan highlighted that out of 5.46 crore enumeration forms, more than 5.43 crore have already been digitised on the ECI‑Net platform, achieving a 99.5 % upload rate well ahead of the timetable. This remarkable pace underscores Rajasthan’s robust digital backbone and the seamless coordination of field teams.
The state also leads in voter mapping, with overall mapping exceeding 95 %. Nine assembly segments—Kapasan, Baytu, Salumbar, Lohawat, Nagar, Sikri, Osian, Shahpura, and Bamanwas—have surpassed the 99 % threshold. Kapasan, for instance, has mapped 99.46 % of its 273,000 voters, meaning roughly 1,500 names still need to be verified.
Mahajan pointed out that the gains are largely thanks to the efforts of Booth Level Officers, who are covering over 46,000 polling stations. Their door‑to‑door checks and prompt digital updates ensure voter rolls remain accurate and reliable.
Rajasthan’s digitisation achievements are equally impressive. Districts such as Barmer, Salumbar, Balotra, Jhalawar, Phalodi, Bharatpur, Churu, Dausa, and Baran have reached 100 % digitisation, positioning them as national exemplars.
He stressed that SIR is not merely a data‑driven task but a collective endeavour carried out with honesty, openness, and precision. Rajasthan’s progress marks a significant step toward creating cleaner, voter‑centric, and tech‑savvy electoral rolls.
