Mumbai, Dec 2 – LatestNewsX reports that Ashnoor Kaur, a contestant on Bigg Boss 19, was evicted from the show just a week before the Grand Finale. The actress said she was removed after she physically harmed fellow housemate Tanya Mittal during a task. When asked by LatestNewsX, Ashnoor expressed that she has no regrets, claiming her actions were not intentional and that she did not mean to hurt anyone.
“I don’t know why I should accept responsibility for something I didn’t do,” she told reporters. “If anyone ever told me, ‘She (Tanya) got hurt, just check up on her,’ I would have gone straight to apologise. Nothing like that happened.”
Ashnoor also addressed the situation with Gaurav Khanna, saying she was evicted partly because she didn’t heed his advice. “I wasn’t in the house to shadow anyone or simply listen to someone else,” she said. “Gaurav never told me that Tanya was physically hurt; he kept saying ‘I hit her,’ ‘I did it,’ when in fact I never intended to hit her.”
She recounted a number of times when other housemates had physically hurt her and noted that she never made a fuss over them. “In the house there have been many episodes where people have been much more physically aggressive,” she said, “but I’ve always been the kind of person who understands the nature of physical tasks. I’ve been hurt, pushed, manhandled, got bruises, but I see it as part of the game.”
Ashnoor ended by saying the sudden eviction has left her disappointed. “I’m definitely disheartened. My journey ended abruptly, all of a sudden. It feels even worse when you’re punished for something you never did,” she added to LatestNewsX.
