Patna, Dec 3 (LatestNewsX) – In a shocking turn of events, the village head of Gopi Pattev Panchayat, Radha Sah, was gunned down in broad daylight in Siwan district, Bihar. The shooting happened at Fulwaria Crossing, within the Raghunathpur police jurisdiction, when Sah was heading for some routine work. Unidentified gunmen opened fire on him, causing him to collapse and die on the spot. Police suspect the hit could be linked to the recent assembly elections in Raghunathpur, though they note it’s too early to confirm a definitive motive. Officers rushed to the scene, recovered Sah’s body and sent it to Siwan’s Sadar Hospital for an autopsy. An FIR was lodged at Raghunathpur police station, and investigators are canvassing family statements and reviewing nearby CCTV footage to identify the attackers. The incident has raised serious security concerns in the district, prompting police to gather all available information in pursuit of the culprits.
Earlier that same day, a 28‑year‑old teacher, Shivani Kumari, was shot by two unidentified motorbike riders in Araria district. She was on her way to Middle School Khabadh Kanhaili in Khabadh Kanhaili village, under the Narpatganj police station area, when the attackers stopped her scooter just about a hundred metres from the school near a Shiva temple. The masked men forced her helmet off and fired a close‑range shot to her head, killing her instantly. Her body has been identified and the case is under investigation.
