Jr Men Academy C’ship: Ghumanhera Riser’s, Pritam Siwach Hockey Academy, S.G.P.C and SAI-Gujarat win

Surat, Gujarat – Dec 27 – The third round of the Hockey India Junior Men Academy Championship 2025, held in Suraj, saw a flurry of dominant performances across the pools on Saturday. Below is a recap of the day’s standout results.


Pool D

  • Ghumanhera Riser’s Academy edged Bhai Behlo Hockey Academy 3‑2.
    • Ghumanhera’s scorers: Duvish (21′), Yash (23′) and Hitesh Kataria (42′).
    • Bhai Behlo responded with goals from Rahul Tanwar (10′) and Himanshu Chanaliya (59′).

Pool C

  • S.G.P.C Hockey Academy took on Ashwini Sports Academy, securing a 3‑1 win.

    • Goals: Inderpreet Singh (27′), Mehakdeep Singh (36′) and Arshdeep Singh (43′) for the winners; Varun Panchal (40′) scored for Ashwini.
  • Sports Authority of Gujarat – Hockey Academy dismantled Hockey Family Badhkhalsa NCR Hockey Society 13‑0.

    • Hat‑trick by Tushal Sosa (2′, 3′, 13′).
    • Capt. Vishal Gundiya (11′, 35′), Alpeshbhai Vala (13′, 21′) and Athrav Mahadik (37′, 45′) each netted two goals.
    • One‑goalkickers: Bhavyakumar Asari (19′), Janmesh Rathod (27′), Nikunj Salvi (57′) and Pravin Chaudhary (59′).

Pool B

  • Namdhari XI ran riot against Ritu Rani Hockey Academy, winning 13‑1.
    • Vikram captured a hat‑trick with goals at 12′, 17′ and 37′.
    • Bihara Singh (11′, 27′), Sonu (26′, 27′) and Gurdayal Singh (43′, 55′) each had two.
    • Mandeep Singh, Nikhil, Amanatveer Singh and Sehajpreet Singh added one goal apiece.
    • Captain Taranjot Singh scored the lone goal for Ritu Rani (56′).

Pool A

  • Roundglass Hockey Academy delivered a mammoth 19‑0 victory over Cheema Hockey Academy.
    • Inderjit Singh claimed a hat‑trick with goals at 13′, 30′ and 45′.
    • Capt. Arshpreet Singh netted two (4′, 14′); Anurag Singh (9′, 10′), Om Rajnesh Saini (36′, 39′), Gurwinder Singh (2′, 48′) and Varinder Singh (59′, 60′) each scored twice.
    • Single‑goal contributors were Sukhpreet Singh (19′), Prince Singh (51′), Jarman Singh (55′), Sunny (7′), Sukhmanpreet Singh (5′) and Amandeep (5′).

Pritam Siwach Hockey Academy, Sonepat also dominated their match, beating Raja Karan Hockey Academy 15‑4. Nikhil dazzled with five goals (16′, 25′, 33′, 35′, 39′) while Nitin added a hat‑trick (22′, 30′, 59′). Himanshu (7′, 8′) and Dhruv (9′, 53′) each had two. Yashmit Deswal and Sameer chipped in with one goal each. Raja Karan found the net through Deepak Kumar (15′, 37′) and Sunny (56′, 58′).

The day’s high‑scoring games underscored the competitive spirit of the tournament and showcased the talent emerging from India’s junior hockey academies.
