Will take recruitment exams investigation to logical conclusion: Rajasthan CM

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma launched a strong attack on former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Thursday, accusing him of being linked to irregularities in recruitment exams. Sharma criticized the Congress leader without naming him directly, saying that the investigation into the recruitment scam is moving forward quickly.

Speaking at Jodhpur airport while welcoming BJP President JP Nadda, Sharma emphasized that the BJP government is committed to uncovering the truth. He said, “Since taking office on December 15, we’ve set up a Special Investigation Team (SIT). Now, big names are coming forward in the recruitment case. A trusted PSO of Gehlot has been caught, and the truth will come out. No one will be spared in this investigation.”

Sharma also took a swipe at the Congress for focusing on point-scoring instead of raising important issues. He said that the people of Rajasthan and the country have rejected their politics and are favoring efforts that benefit the common man.

The Chief Minister also reviewed the situation caused by recent heavy rains across Rajasthan. He praised the rainfall, calling it a blessing from Bansiwala, and assured that the government is working on relief measures. Officials and local leaders have been instructed to stay in affected areas for two days, inspect damage, and prepare reports to assist the affected residents.

Sharma highlighted his government’s focus on helping the poor and supporting the state’s economy. He welcomed recent GST reforms announced by the Central government, calling them a historic step that will bring relief to ordinary people and boost economic growth.

Meanwhile, BJP President JP Nadda arrived in Jodhpur at around 8 pm by special plane, greeted warmly by Sharma and other leaders. Nadda, along with senior BJP leader B.L. Santosh, will stay in the city for three days to participate in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s (RSS) All India Coordination Meeting.

Before heading to his events, Nadda and Sharma had a quick discussion at the airport lounge. The visit marks an important political event as Rajasthan gears up for upcoming state developments.
