iPhone 17 Launch Creates Buzz in India: Fans Queue Up in Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi

Apple’s latest iPhone 17 series hit stores across India today, and the excitement is real! Tech enthusiasts lined up early outside Apple stores in major cities, eager to grab the new devices. From Bengaluru to Mumbai and Delhi, fans braved long queues to be among the first to own the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

The launch kicked off after Apple revealed the lineup on September 9, 2025, including not just the iPhones but also the AirPods 3, Apple Watch Series 11, Watch SE3, and Watch Ultra 3. In Bengaluru’s Phoenix Mall of Asia, crowds gathered outside the Apple store right from the morning. Shoppers checked out the sleek new features inside, like the iPhone 17 Pro’s aluminum build, massive battery, and that eye-catching full-width camera setup on the back.

One excited buyer, Gauri Shankar from Bengaluru, shared his thrill with us. "I’ve been getting iPhones for years, and this is my first time at an Apple Store—it’s amazing! I’m already looking forward to the iPhone 18," he said, grinning as he waited in line.

Over in Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), the scene was just as lively. Two massive queues formed outside the flagship store to keep things organized, but not everyone was thrilled. Mohan Yadav traveled all the way from Ahmedabad and had been standing since 5 a.m. "The wait is tough, and security isn’t handling the crowds well—people keep cutting lines, causing chaos," he complained. Still, the iPhone 17 fever is high.

Local Mumbai resident Bayan Kapoor echoed the hype. "The iPhone 17 reviews are fantastic, and I really want one. But with this huge crowd, I’m not sure if I’ll get my hands on it today," he told us, eyes fixed on the store entrance.

Delhi wasn’t left out either. At the Apple outlet in Select Citywalk Mall, Saket, fans camped overnight, sitting outside until the doors opened. They couldn’t wait to snag the regular iPhone 17 or the all-new iPhone Air model.

Priced starting at $1,099 for the iPhone 17 Pro and $1,199 for the Pro Max (both with 256GB storage), these gadgets promise top-notch upgrades. The iPhone 17 series launch in India shows Apple’s massive pull—fans are ready to upgrade and join the tech revolution. If you’re planning to buy, head to your nearest store soon, but brace for those queues!
