India’s Abhishek Sharma and Varun Chakravarthy continue to shine at the top of the ICC Men’s T20I rankings after strong showings in the Asia Cup. Abhishek holds his number one spot in batting, while Varun stays on top for bowlers, boosting his rating by 14 points.

Varun didn’t take any wickets in India’s Super Fours match against Pakistan, but his tight spell of 0-25 kept the runs in check and helped secure his lead. Teammate Hardik Pandya jumped six spots to 60th in the bowling rankings and kept his top position among all-rounders in T20Is.

Abhishek earned his ranking with a quick 38 runs against Oman in India’s last group game, followed by a brilliant 74 that chased down Pakistan’s 171 on Sunday. His partner Tilak Varma climbed one place to third in batting after smashing an unbeaten 30 off 19 balls to seal that victory against Pakistan.

Other Asia Cup stars made big moves too. Pakistan’s leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed soared 12 places to fourth in bowling, reaching 703 rating points. He grabbed 1-8 against Sri Lanka to spark Pakistan’s comeback and earlier took 2-13 versus the UAE, despite a tougher 1-42 outing against India.

Bangladesh’s Mustafizur Rahman returned to the top 10 with a six-place rise, thanks to six wickets at an average of eight in his recent matches. He bounced back from a short dip in form. Pakistan’s Haris Rauf also climbed nine spots to 28th.

In batting, Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan rocketed 31 places to 24th after his smooth 58 off 45 balls against India. Hussain Talat made an incredible leap of 1,474 spots to joint 234th with a game-winning knock against Sri Lanka. Bangladesh’s Saif Hassan jumped 133 places to 81st following his 61 in the Super Fours.

For all-rounders, Pakistan’s Faheem Ashraf rose 12 spots to joint 39th for his steady bowling. Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga moved up to seventh after claiming four wickets in his last two games.
