The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has exciting news for cricket fans! On Tuesday, they revealed Apollo Tyres as the new lead sponsor for the Indian cricket team, replacing Dream11. This marks Apollo Tyres’ first big step into sponsoring Indian cricket, a sport that unites the entire nation.
After a tough bidding process, BCCI secured this deal, which brings in a huge boost in sponsorship value. It shows just how massive the commercial pull of Indian cricket has become. The agreement runs for two and a half years, wrapping up in March 2028. You’ll soon spot the Apollo Tyres logo on the jerseys of both the men’s and women’s Indian national teams in all formats—Test, ODI, and T20.
BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia couldn’t hide his enthusiasm. “The arrival of Apollo Tyres as our new sponsor highlights the hard work and stellar performance of our teams,” he said. “This is more than a deal—it’s a partnership between two trusted names that millions admire.”

Apollo Tyres, a global leader in the tyre industry, focuses on performance and safety. They sell products under brands like Apollo and Vredestein in over 100 countries through a wide network of stores. BCCI Joint Secretary Rohan Gauns Dessai added, “This partnership reflects Team India’s strong showings. We’re eager to team up with Apollo Tyres for excellence and a lasting bond.”
