Fans are buzzing with excitement as the Asia Cup 2025 final between India and Pakistan sells out completely at Dubai International Stadium. The showdown happens this Sunday, and organizers say the 28,000-seat venue will be packed to the brim with cricket lovers eager for this epic rivalry clash.

India and Pakistan, two of cricket’s biggest rivals, have drawn huge crowds in their earlier Asia Cup meetings this year. The group stage match on September 14 pulled in 20,000 fans, while the Super Four game on September 21 saw 17,000 spectators cheer on the action.

This marks a historic moment—it’s the first time in 41 years, since the inaugural Asia Cup in 1984, that both teams have reached the final together. India has dominated their head-to-head battles, winning both Asia Cup 2025 encounters against Pakistan decisively. Overall, Pakistan has struggled in T20Is against India, losing 12 out of 15 matches.

Pakistan’s path to the final wasn’t easy. Captain Salman Agha and his team nearly got knocked out by Bangladesh in the Super Fours but pulled off an 11-run victory to advance. Now, they’re ready to challenge India on the big stage.

India faced a minor hiccup with injuries during their last Super Fours game against Sri Lanka. Abhishek Sharma and Hardik Pandya both dealt with cramps and spent time off the field, but the good news is they’re fully fit for the final.

India’s squad, led by captain Suryakumar Yadav, includes Shubman Gill, Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube, Jitesh Sharma, Axar Patel, Jasprit Bumrah, Varun Chakaravarthy, Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav, Sanju Samson, Harshit Rana, and Rinku Singh.

Pakistan, under Salman Ali Agha, fields Abrar Ahmed, Faheem Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, Hasan Nawaz, Hussain Talat, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Haris, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Waseem Jnr, Sahibzada Farhan, Saim Ayub, Salman Mirza, Shaheen Afridi, and Sufyan Moqim.

Cricket fans around the world can’t wait for this India vs Pakistan Asia Cup final—it’s set to be one of the most thrilling matches of the year.
