New Delhi, India – The Fenesta Open National Tennis Championship kicked off its 30th year with a cool new highlight: the unveiling of the “30:LOVE” installation. This special setup honors three decades of teamwork between DCM Shriram and Indian tennis, focusing on growing young talent across the country.

Ajay S. Shriram, the Chairman and Managing Director of DCM Shriram Ltd., and Saket Jain, Business Head of Fenesta Building Systems, pulled back the curtain on the installation. The event shines a light on how this tournament has spent 30 years supporting India’s rising tennis stars, as organizers shared in a recent release.

Shriram shared his thoughts during the ceremony. “We launched this tournament 30 years ago, and it just kept growing thanks to the passion from players, parents, and the whole sports community,” he said. “Our goal was to give budding youngsters a real stage to show their skills, compete fairly, and build up to national and international levels. The true spark comes from the players – their hard work and heart have lifted the sport, and it’s awesome to see so many of them succeed on bigger stages.”

He also gave some inspiring advice to young athletes. “Picking up a sport is fantastic for kids – it sharpens focus, boosts drive, and teaches you to chase excellence. Life’s all about competition, so if you’re passionate about tennis, pour your heart into it. Wins and losses are just steps along the way, but real effort raises your game and makes you and your family proud. That’s what counts most.”

For 30 years, the Fenesta Open National Tennis Championship has stood out as India’s top domestic event for young players. Run by the All India Tennis Association (AITA) and Delhi Lawn Tennis Association (DLTA), it brings together dedicated athletes from every corner of the country. The tournament fuels hard work and passion, helping these rising stars sharpen their skills and gear up for global competitions in Indian tennis.
