India pulled off a thrilling five-wicket victory over Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025 final at Dubai International Stadium, clinching their ninth title in the tournament’s history. Head coach Gautam Gambhir celebrated the win with a straightforward Instagram post: “In the end, INTENT always wins!” His words captured the team’s grit as they chased down a modest 147-run target.

The match wasn’t easy for the Suryakumar Yadav-led side. India lost their top order early, slumping to 20/3 inside the powerplay. But Tilak Varma stepped up big time, steadying the innings and pushing the team forward. Sanju Samson added a quick 24 off 21 balls, while Shivam Dube smashed 33 off 22 to help India cross the line in the final over, staying unbeaten throughout the chase.
