Hyderabad Black Hawks, the Prime Volleyball League team from Telangana, has warmly invited former Minister KTR to cheer them on during their home matches. The games kick off at the GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium in Gachibowli from October 2 to 26.
Team Principal Owner Kankanala Abhishek Reddy met KTR at his Hyderabad residence on Monday. He gifted the former Industries and IT Minister a Hyderabad Black Hawks jersey, cap, and a custom gift box to show respect and excitement for the upcoming season.
The Black Hawks will carry Telangana’s sporting pride into PVL Season 4. Fans can catch all the action live on Sony Sports Network or stream it worldwide on YouTube.
The season starts strong with defending champions Calicut Heroes facing off against Hyderabad Black Hawks on opening night. It wraps up with the finals on October 26.
This year’s PVL grows bigger with 10 teams, including newcomers Goa Guardians. The league splits into two pools of five teams each, leading to 38 thrilling matches—35 in the league stage alone. Each team plays four games against rivals in their pool and three against the other pool. The top four teams overall advance to the semifinals on October 24.
Expect non-stop excitement with back-to-back games and doubleheaders over 21 matchdays. Tuhin Mishra, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Baseline Ventures, shared his enthusiasm: “Season 4 is our biggest yet. With Goa Guardians on board, we’ve got 10 fierce teams, more international stars, and a growing fanbase. Partnering with Scapia, we’re set to elevate volleyball in India.”
PVL CEO Joy Bhattacharjya added, “We’ve crafted the schedule for maximum drama—double-headers, heated rivalries, and a packed playoff race. Indian fans love their volleyball passion, and this season will crank it up even higher.”

Pool A: Goa Guardians, Chennai Blitz, Kochi Blue Spikers, Bengaluru Torpedoes, Kolkata Thunderbolts.
Pool B: Hyderabad Black Hawks, Delhi Toofans, Ahmedabad Defenders, Mumbai Meteors, Calicut Heroes.
