Pawan Sehrawat Speaks Out After Tamil Thalaivas Release Him from Pro Kabaddi League Season 12

Pawan Sehrawat, the star raider of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), has finally broken his silence following his shocking release from Tamil Thalaivas. The team dropped him for disciplinary reasons during PKL Season 12, and in a heartfelt Instagram video, Sehrawat vowed to quit kabaddi if even a tiny part of the allegations proves true.

Sehrawat had rejoined Tamil Thalaivas for this season after spending two years with Telugu Titans. But things went south quickly. He didn’t play in their opening match of the Jaipur leg against Bengal Warriorz. Fans remember his earlier time with Thalaivas in Season 9, where he only managed one game before an injury forced him out for the rest of the season—he even needed surgery back then.

In his emotional video, Sehrawat opened up about the support he received. "I was with the team in Season 9, and the owner stood by me through my surgery and my comeback to the Indian team. Coach Sanjeev Baliyan helped a ton during camps and matches. Arjun Deshwal and I had big plans to push the team ahead, but one person in the management blocked everything," he shared.

Tamil Thalaivas made the tough call public on Saturday via social media. They said Sehrawat was sent home and won’t return for the season, citing a breach of their code of conduct after careful review.

Sehrawat hit back strongly, defending his record. "I’ve played for the Indian team, so I know discipline inside out. If even 1% of these allegations against me are true, I promise I’ll quit kabaddi right now. I stand by this 100%—I’m in the right here," he declared with full conviction.

The team had signed the former Telugu Titans captain for Rs 59.50 lakh to strengthen their raiding lineup. Known as the "Hi-Flyer," this all-rounder has racked up an impressive 1,318 raid points and 70 tackle points across 139 PKL matches since his debut in Season 3.

Wrapping up his message, Sehrawat wished his ex-team well. "To Tamil Thalaivas, keep pushing forward and achieve big things. All the best!"

As PKL Season 12 heats up, fans are buzzing about this controversy and what it means for Sehrawat’s future in kabaddi. Stay tuned for more updates on Pro Kabaddi League drama.
