### Shubhankar’s Return to Form
Shubhankar started the round tied 99th with a 74, but he turned things around on Friday. He bided his time on all four par‑5s and landed birdie putts from 15 to 18 feet. “I felt a lot fresher in today’s afternoon session,” he explained. “I hit well, putted well, and my mind was clearer.”
The Indian star shared details of his recent equipment changes that have paid off. “The last six months were tough, but in the past two weeks I’ve found my form. I finally got the right combo of club, shaft, and ball after a few tweaks,” he said.

### Dhruv Sheoran Keeps the Momentum
Sheoran, who had opened the tournament tied seventh with a 68, managed a 73 in the second round. He birdied three holes but also faced four bogeys. He survived a tense finish on the 18th after a mis‑hit tee shot, pulling out of a bunker for an up‑and‑down and converting a 15‑foot bogey putt to keep his weekend hopes alive.
“I went into the changeroom after the first nine holes feeling the momentum slip,” Sheoran said. “I washed my face, looked at myself in the mirror, and vowed I couldn’t let it go on. New determination came after I left the room.”
