The BM Birla Cup’s second match finished with a decisive win for the home side.
At the Rajasthan Polo Club, the Jaipur Polo Team beat the Trojans Polo 10–4, thanks to an incredible five‑goal haul from HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh.

The victory sends Jaipur straight into the semi‑finals, where they will take on the Suhana All Stars Polo Team this Saturday.

The game opened with the Trojans on the board, but Jaipur answered quickly. Vandit Golecha equalised in the fifth minute, and the Maharaja added a second early goal to put Jaipur ahead 2–1.

Jaipur kept the pressure on. In the second chukker they scored three more—two from the Maharaja and one from Lance Watson—while the Trojans managed a single reply, leaving Jaipur 5–2 up.

The third chukker saw Jaipur extend their lead to 7–3, and the final one finished 10–4. The Maharaja’s five goals brought his tournament total to 11 across two games. Watson added two, and Golecha finished the night with a hat‑trick.

Jaipur has also claimed recent titles at the Gen Amar Singh Kanota Cup, Sawai Man Guard Cup, and Chinkara Cup, beating the Mayfair Polo Team, Kognivera Stallions, and Carysil Polo respectively.

The next chapter of the BM Birla Cup is in the semi‑finals, where the Jaipur Polo Team will face the Suhana All Stars. Their strong form suggests a thrilling showdown ahead.
