Mahesh Babu says ‘Thinking of you a little more today’ as he remembers late father Krishna

Mahesh Babu marked the third anniversary of the death of his father and legendary actor Krishna with a heartfelt tribute on Instagram. The Tollywood star posted a photo that pairs an older portrait of his dad with a young version of himself from a film set. “Thinking of you a little more today…and knowing you’d be proud, nanna,” he wrote.
His wife, Namrata Shirodkar, shared a touching message too. “Honouring his spirit today… a life lived with dignity, goodness, and so much heart. Forever remembered with love and gratitude,” she wrote, adding a folded‑hands emoji.
The couple’s daughter, Sitara, also posted an old picture of her grandfather. She captioned it, “Missing my Thathagaru as always… His love, his blessings, and his quiet strength guide us in everything we do. I know he’s always watching over us.” The post ended with a white heart emoji.
Krishna, who passed away on November 15, 2022 at the age of 79, was a powerhouse in Telugu cinema as an actor, director and producer. Fans remember him as a pillar of the industry.
On the same day, Mahesh Babu’s production team and filmmaker SS Rajamouli are set to launch their big new project, “GlobeTrotter,” at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Industry insiders say the event will be a monumental gathering, inviting more than 50,000 fans to see a 100‑foot‑high, 130‑foot‑wide screen and a spectacular stage. The buzz is high, especially after Prithviraj Sukumaran’s powerful first look as Kumbha ignited online chatter.
The GlobeTrotter launch is expected to bring together big names such as Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, and Prithviraj Sukumaran, promising a momentous celebration for Indian cinema lovers across the country.
