Jaipur’s Pink Panthers edged Haryana’s Steelers 30‑27 in a wild play‑in match of the Pro Kabaddi League 2025, held on Oct. 25 at Delhi’s Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium.
The game was a back‑and‑forth battle that kept fans on the edge of their seats. Aryan Kumar gave Jaipur a big lift, finishing the night with a “High Five” – five successful tackles in a single raid – for a total of 11 points. Deepanshu Khatri added four points, while skipper Nitin Kumar led the team’s raiding line with seven points.
Early on, both sides traded pushes. Nitin’s first raid knocked out Steelers’ Neeraj, only to be answered by Shivam Patare’s tackle on Deepanshu. Later, the Pink Panthers’ defenders shredded the Steelers’ lineup, with Reza Mirbagheri taking down Vinay and Mohit stunning Shivam – setting the tone for a tight first quarter that finished 9‑5 in Jaipur’s favor.
The second quarter saw Jaipur’s Nitin score a crucial two‑point raid, sending two Steelers players to the benches and opening the game’s first “All Out.” The Panthers’ momentum increased, widening the gap to six points. Deepanshu and Ali Samadi kept the pressure high, adding 18‑10 in Jaipur’s favor before a few rallies from the Steelers brought their score back to 22‑16 by the end of the third quarter.
With a strategic timeout into the final minute, the Steelers looked to close the gap. Ashish Narwal stepped up, scoring two points and knocking out Jaipur’s last defender, Nitin Rawal. The score leveled, but a key mistake by Narwal in the last two minutes let Nitin earn a touch point on the clock.
Aryan’s last tackle on Vinay sealed the win, topping the points count at 30‑27. The result eliminates the Haryana Steelers from the tournament, leaving Jaipur as the dominant force as the Pro Kabaddi League 2025 season moves forward.
