Dabang Delhi K.C. delivered a powerhouse performance to crush U Mumba 47-26 in a thrilling Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 match at Jaipur’s SMS Indoor Stadium on Thursday. The 21-point gap marked the second-biggest victory margin of the season, sending fans into a frenzy.
Ashu Malik stole the show with a stunning 23 raid points—his career-best in PKL history. Teammate Neeraj Narwal added seven points, while defender Fazel Atrachali notched four tackles. For U Mumba, raider Sandeep Kumar fought hard with a Super 10, but it couldn’t stop the rout.
U Mumba jumped out to an early lead, thanks to Sandeep Kumar’s five points in the first 10 minutes. Ashu Malik got Dabang Delhi on the board first, but Neeraj Narwal’s two-point raid kept things tight as the score sat at 7-9.
Things heated up quickly. Dabang Delhi tied it at 12-12, with Ashu Malik finding his rhythm in the back-and-forth battle. A Super Tackle from U Mumba’s Sunil Kumar pushed them ahead by two at halftime’s approach. But Ashu Malik flipped the script with a massive multi-point raid, triggering an All Out on U Mumba and completing his own Super 10. That gave Dabang Delhi a narrow 19-17 edge at the break.
The second half belonged to Dabang Delhi. Fazel Atrachali and Surjeet Singh locked down U Mumba with key tackles, while Ashu kept raiding relentlessly. He stretched the lead to five, then slammed a Super Raid for another All Out, ballooning the advantage to double digits.
Dabang Delhi didn’t let up, hitting a third All Out to surge to 37-19 with 10 minutes left. They dominated the third quarter, racking up 18 points to U Mumba’s mere two. Ashu Malik even hit a milestone, reaching 100 raid points for the season.
Sandeep Kumar shone as U Mumba’s lone bright spot, but the team couldn’t mount a comeback. Ashu capped his epic night with one final Super Raid, etching his 23-point haul as the top raiding performance of PKL Season 12. Thanks to his heroics, Dabang Delhi K.C. climbed to the top of the table with this commanding win.
