Bengal Warriorz Stage Epic Comeback to Defeat UP Yoddhas in Thrilling Pro Kabaddi League Match

In a nail-biting Pro Kabaddi League showdown at Jaipur’s SMS Indoor Stadium, the Bengal Warriorz pulled off an incredible turnaround to beat the UP Yoddhas 41-37. This win on Tuesday night marked a huge relief for the Season 7 champions, who had suffered four straight losses before this match.

The UP Yoddhas started strong, grabbing an early lead with a successful raid by Guman Singh. Devank quickly leveled things up for the Warriorz, but the Yoddhas fought back to take control again.

Yoddhas’ defense looked rock-solid in the opening minutes. They coordinated brilliantly to stop Warriorz raiders, leading to an All Out that boosted their score to 10-4. By the first timeout, they held a solid 12-5 advantage, putting real pressure on their opponents.

The Warriorz mounted a short fightback in the second quarter, narrowing the gap to five points with quick raids. But Guman and the Yoddhas’ defense, powered by Ashu Singh and Hitesh, pushed the lead to 15-9. Devank kept the Warriorz alive with a raid and a bonus point, making it 16-12, but the Yoddhas stayed ahead at halftime, 18-13.

Coming out strong after the break, the Warriorz cut the deficit to 15-18. The Yoddhas hit back with sharp defense, but the Warriorz hung tough. By the second-half timeout, the Yoddhas led 25-22, keeping the tension high.

That’s when the magic happened for Bengal. They hit the Yoddhas with an All Out right after the timeout, surging to a 26-25 lead thanks to a key raid from Devank. Gagan Gowda leveled it for UP, but the Warriorz tightened their defense. Ashish nailed his High Five, and Devank powered through to his sixth Super 10 of the season.

With just three minutes left, the score sat at 34-33 for the Warriorz. They sealed the deal with another All Out, jumping to 38-34. Staying cool under pressure, they held on for a thrilling four-point victory in this PKL thriller.

This Pro Kabaddi League result shows the Warriorz’ fighting spirit, setting them up nicely for the rest of the season. Fans can’t wait to see more action from stars like Devank in upcoming matches.
