Tamil Thalaivas snapped their three-match losing streak in style, dominating the Jaipur Pink Panthers 37-28 in a thrilling Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 12 showdown at the SMS Indoor Stadium on Saturday night. Captain Arjun Deshwal starred for the winners with 13 raid points, while Suresh Jadhav and Nitesh Kumar each notched High Fives through sharp tackles.

The opening 10 minutes set the tone for a gritty battle in this Jaipur leg of PKL Season 12. Tamil Thalaivas grabbed an early 8-6 edge, thanks to Nitin Kumar’s key raids that kept their attack humming. Jaipur Pink Panthers fought back hard, with their own Nitin Kumar slicing through the defense to stay close. Empty raids and Do-Or-Die moments kept fans glued, as Yogesh Yadav’s bold raid and Nitesh Kumar’s tackles showed Thalaivas’ balance on both ends. Jaipur’s tight defense prevented any big swings, leaving Thalaivas up by just two points at the first break.

Things heated up in the second quarter, turning into a tackle fest. Arulnanthababu kicked it off with a Super Tackle on Nitin Kumar, firing up Thalaivas. Jaipur responded fast—Aryan Kumar’s Super Tackle halted Arjun Deshwal and leveled the energy. Defenders ruled early, sparking more empty raids and limiting raids. Vinay’s big stop on Yogesh Yadav and Nitesh Kumar’s tackle on Sahil highlighted Jaipur’s fight as two-time champs. Thalaivas stayed sharp in Do-Or-Die spots, holding a slim 14-13 lead at halftime.

Thalaivas pulled ahead in the third quarter, stretching to 27-22. Deshwal, the raid machine, hit his Super 10 but faced fierce resistance that led to empty raids on both sides. Super Tackles stole the show—Suresh Jadhav downed Nitin Kumar, and Nitesh Kumar’s High Five included a clutch stop on Sahil during a Do-Or-Die. Smart subs brought fresh energy, keeping the pressure on. By quarter’s end, Thalaivas led by five, showcasing disciplined play in this intense PKL match.

Deshwal kept delivering key points, backed by Jadhav and Kumar’s rock-solid defense. Jaipur’s raiders couldn’t crack the wall, while Thalaivas pounced on chances. More empty raids and Do-Or-Die drama filled the air, with tackles taking over late. Strategic swaps kept Thalaivas’ defense fresh, sealing a solid nine-point win and boosting their PKL Season 12 campaign.
