Arnaut Danjuma gave Valencia the lead in the 15th minute, but Leandro Cabrera equalized for Espanyol in the 59th. Hugo Duro put Valencia back ahead just three minutes later, only for Javi Puado to rescue a point with a stoppage-time goal in the 96th minute—denying Valencia back-to-back wins.
