Prashant Kishor claims Ministers in Nitish Kumar-led Bihar govt purchased properties abroad

In Patna, political strategist turned Jan Suraaj chief Prashant Kishor fired sharp shots at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the BJP during a massive public rally on Wednesday. Speaking at the Bhagwanpur Block Office Ground in Begusarai’s Bachhwara Assembly constituency, Kishor kicked off his Bihar Badlaav Yatra with fiery speeches and big promises to transform the state.
Kishor didn’t hold back on Nitish Kumar, calling him an “honest Chief Minister leading a corrupt government.” He accused ministers and officials close to Kumar of buying properties in Australia, England, and South Africa using “looted money,” while Bihar’s people struggle in poverty. “If Jan Suraaj wins power in November, we’ll jail every corrupt person and seize their wealth,” Kishor declared, drawing huge cheers from the crowd.
Highlighting Bachhwara as the home turf of Bihar’s Sports Minister Surendra Mehta, Kishor praised the area’s revolutionary spirit. “This is Begusarai’s land of fighters—no major movement in India ever succeeded without their role,” he said, boosting local pride.
He also took a dig at BJP leaders, challenging them directly: “If any BJP leader has the guts, gather as many people as I did today and hold a meeting here. Then we’ll see who’s a real leader and who’s just a Facebook warrior.”
Kishor then rolled out ambitious plans for Bihar’s future, focusing on jobs, education, and support for the elderly. He vowed that this Diwali and Chhath will be the last ones marked by Bihar’s struggles. “No more youth migrating out for work— we’ll bring back 50 lakh young people and give them jobs paying Rs 10,000 to 12,000 per month right here in the state,” he promised.
For seniors, Kishor pledged a Rs 2,000 monthly pension for every man and woman over 60. And to fix education, he said the government would pay private school fees for kids under 15 until public schools improve. “This way, poor children can study in English-medium schools too,” he added, aiming to level the playing field.
Kishor’s bold Bihar Badlaav Yatra attacks on Nitish Kumar and BJP, combined with these job and education promises, are heating up Bihar politics. As his campaign gains steam, eyes are on how it shakes up the November elections.
