Female gym teacher allegedly sent ‘inappropriate texts and photos’ to a 13-year-old student
A 22‑year‑old physical‑education teacher in Florida has been let in for submitting “inappropriate” text messages and photos to a 13‑year‑old student. The teacher, Yezmar Angeanis Ramos‑Figueroa of Central Point Christian Academy, was taken into custody on Wednesday after a mother reported the conduct to law enforcement. According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, Ramos‑Figueroa told investigators she had texted the minor—who was attending school virtually—sending a photo as well. She faces two felony charges: distributing obscene material to a minor and transmitting harmful material to a minor. The teacher is being held at the Osceola County Jail on a $10,000 bond, according to jail records. Further details are not yet available, and the school has not yet responded to our request for comment.
