Chennai, Nov. 10 – The film Sigma has officially dropped its title, marking the debut of director Jason Sanjay, the son of star‑turned‑politician Vijay.
Lyca Productions, the banner behind the movie, shared the first poster on its X (formerly Twitter) page. The graphic shows actor Sundeep Kishan sitting on piles of cash, a hand wrapped in a bandage, and the caption reads, “Presenting the Title of #JSJ01 – #SIGMA. The quest begins.”
Sundeep has been a loud supporter of his director‑brother. Earlier this year, he posted a birthday note on Instagram, praising Jason’s hard work, sincerity and originality. “Happy Birthday to My Director Man – God‑Gifted Little Bro @jason.sanjay_official,” he wrote, adding that the world would soon see Jason’s talent.
Sigma brings together a fresh team. Lyca’s seasoned crew includes music maestro Thaman S, award‑winning editor Praveen K.L., and cinematographer Krishnan Vasanth. Telugu actress Faria Abdullah is expected to play the female lead, adding extra buzz among fans.
Sundeep, who opened 2024 with gratitude for his supporters, said he feels excited about the new project in 2025. “Sanjay is making his directorial debut, and it will be an enriching experience to have a fresh perspective on set,” he told reporters. “He’s passionate, dedicated, and has a clear vision for the film. I can’t wait for him to surprise the audience.”
