Actor Vishnu Vishal, who plays the lead in the Tamil psychological thriller Aaryan, said the film will now open with a new, shorter ending from Tuesday.
The revised climax cuts the movie’s runtime by about four to five minutes, a change the team got approved by the Censor Board.
In a “Thank‑You” event hosted by Vishnu’s production house, Vishal Film Factory, the actor thanked reporters for their support during the film’s run. “This is the first solo‑hero picture I’ve brought to theatres in three years, and the love audiences have shown in the first week has been amazing,” he told the media.
Vishnu praised director Praveen K for a script that breaks thriller clichés. “We aim for about 80 % success in challenging conventions. The remaining 20 % is just different opinions,” he said.
When the team was debating how to finish the story, they weighed two months of options before deciding that the audience would prefer a specific ending. “We have now addressed the small negative feedback about the original climax,” he added. “From today, the new ending will be shown, and the 20 % that felt disappointed will not be disappointed again.”
’Aaryan debuted in Tamil Nadu on 31 October 2025. The Telugu version is set to hit screens on 7 November. The film also features Selvaraghavan, Shraddha Srinath, Maanasa Choudhary, Sai Ronak and others in key roles.
