Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor shares a sweet moment on Instagram that will make fans smile. During a recent shoot, she posed happily with a box full of freshly made jalebis, one of India’s most popular desserts. Shraddha jokingly said that shooting is just an excuse to enjoy these delicious sweet treats.
She posted the picture on her Instagram stories, showing herself dressed in a traditional Indian outfit, smiling with her team. Her caption read, “Shooting toh bahana hai, Jalebi jo khaana hai,” which means, “Shooting is just an excuse, I really want to eat jalebi.” It seems the sweet snack was the highlight of her day on set.
Shraddha didn’t reveal what project she was working on during that time, but she has plenty of exciting films in the pipeline. Recently, on August 28, she shared her fun art skills by making a “self-made bindi” with a black eyeliner. She posted a quick video showing her drawing a simple yet stylish bindi — a small dot on the forehead — with a curved line, a tiny dot at the bottom, and an upward arrow shape at the top.
Her caption joked, “When you finally realize the true benefit of school art class,” and she added, “Self-made bindi,” showing off her creative side.
On the movies front, Shraddha is busy with new projects. She is working with director Laxman Utekar on a period drama that’s backed by filmmaker Dinesh Vijan, known for movies like “Stree.” The film is expected to start shooting by November and may release in theaters in 2026.
In addition, Shraddha has signed a multi-film deal with producer Ektaa Kapoor. Rumors suggest her first project under this deal might be a reunion with her “Aashiqui” co-star, Aditya Roy Kapoor.
