Erika Kirk claps back at conspiracies over jewelry — as Charlie’s alleged killer to make first in-person court appearance

Tyler Robinson, the man accused of shooting and killing Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk at a Utah State University event, is scheduled to show up in court in Provo on Thursday. This will be his first in‑person appearance since the harrowing incident, which was captured on camera more than three months ago.

After Charlie’s death, his widow Erika has stepped into the role of turning Point USA’s CEO and has been grappling with a wave of baseless online rumors about her husband’s murder. Among the unfounded claims that have circulated is speculation involving her jewelry.

During a recent segment on Fox News’ “Outnumbered,” Erika responded to the swirl of conspiracy theories. Pointing out the bedazzled right hand she’d been photographed with, she said, “At this point, it’s the conspiracy collection — get it before Christmas.”
She added that she’s no stranger to seeking answers, but she’s growing increasingly upset as these narratives target her family and colleagues.

Prominent right‑wing commentators, including Candace Owens, have also voiced unverified assertions about the death and the subsequent funeral proceedings. Erika labeled the spread of misinformation as a “mind virus,” describing it as both “righteous anger” and an unhealthy phenomenon.

As the case unravels, a Utah judge is deliberating how much media presence the courthouse should allow to protect the integrity of the trial. Both Robinson’s attorneys and the local sheriff’s office have requested that cameras be prohibited inside the facility, according to ABC News.

Robinson has previously appeared in court twice, though once via video link and another time with an audio‑only session. He faces charges of aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm causing serious injury, obstruction of justice, two counts of witness tampering, and a violent offense committed in the presence of a child. He has yet to enter a plea.
