Delhi: One killed, 2 injured as speeding motorcycle hits divider in Sultanpuri

New Delhi, Dec 1 (LatestNewsX) – A motorcycle that was traveling at a fast speed collided with a road divider close to the Sultanpuri police station in outer Delhi on Monday, killing one rider and injuring two others. The force of the impact threw all three occupants off the bike, leaving a 20‑year‑old male dead at the scene. Police say the crash happened late in the evening near the police station, and that the rider lost control while going too fast, causing the crash. The victim, identified as 20-year-old Shivam, died instantly, while the other two people on board suffered multiple injuries. Neighbors who saw the accident rushed to help, called the police and carried the wounded to a nearby hospital, where they are now being monitored. Police arrived promptly and inspected the scene. The motorcycle lay heavily damaged, reflecting the severity of the crash, and investigators are examining the vehicle and surrounding debris as part of the routine inquiry. Authorities will determine the precise cause after reviewing CCTV footage from nearby lanes and obtaining statements from the injured once they are well enough to speak. Shivam’s body has already been handed over for a post‑mortem examination. Residents are alarmed, noting that this stretch of road often sees speeding traffic, especially during late evening hours. sanjay-pgh/uk
