Beyoncé’s Stolen Hard Drives: Suspect Arrested in Atlanta Car Theft Case
Los Angeles, September 17: Police in Atlanta have nabbed a suspect linked to the theft of Beyoncé’s precious hard drives, which held unreleased music and tour secrets. The incident has fans buzzing about the singer’s Cowboy Carter tour security.
On August 26, authorities arrested Kelvin Evans on charges of entering a vehicle with intent to commit theft. According to reports from People magazine, Evans allegedly broke into a Jeep Wagoneer parked in the garage of the Ayla apartment building in Atlanta on July 8. This happened just before Beyoncé’s high-energy Cowboy Carter tour performance in the city.
The victims? Choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue, who left their car there while prepping for the show. Evans swiped a bunch of valuables, including flash drives packed with Beyoncé’s watermarked unreleased tracks, future concert set lists, show footage plans, and even past performance details.
But that’s not all—thieves also grabbed clothing, designer sunglasses, two suitcases, laptops, and a pair of AirPods Max headphones from the vehicle. Sadly, those hard drives with Beyoncé’s unreleased music haven’t turned up yet, as investigators shared with CNN.
Evans is now cooling his heels at Fulton County Jail, held on a $20,000 bond. Jail records show he’s got a long rap sheet stretching back to 2002, with past charges like armed robbery, aggravated assault, and more vehicle break-ins.
