Bengaluru Bulls kicked off the Jaipur leg of Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 with a solid win over Jaipur Pink Panthers. They clinched a thrilling 28-23 victory at the SMS Indoor Stadium in Jaipur on Friday night, marking their third straight win in PKL12.
Star defender Deepak Sankar shone bright again, notching up a High Five with his tackles. Iranian raider Alireza Mirzaian led the charge for the Bulls, racking up eight points through his raids. On the other side, Jaipur’s Nitin Kumar fought hard with eight points of his own, but his teammates couldn’t provide the backup needed to turn the tide.
Right from the whistle, the Bulls showed their aggressive PKL Season 12 style. Alireza Mirzaian struck first with a quick raid, and Deepak Sankar followed with a crucial tackle on Nitin Kumar, giving Bengaluru a 2-0 lead early on. Jaipur’s Ali Samadi hit back with a raid, but Deepanshu Khatri’s tackle evened the score in a cautious start.
Nitin Kumar and Ali Samadi kept Jaipur’s raids alive, while Sanjay Dhull and Aashish Malik matched them for the Bulls. The teams stayed neck-and-neck at 5-5 after the first 10 minutes of this Pro Kabaddi League match.
Jaipur Pink Panthers gained some steam and built a three-point lead. But Bengaluru Bulls roared back with two Super Tackles from Deepak Sankar, who wrapped up his High Five in the first half. This pushed the visitors ahead.
Alireza Mirzaian hit his stride toward the end of the half, extending the Bulls’ advantage. They sealed the momentum with an All Out on Jaipur, heading into the break with a commanding 16-9 lead.
The second half saw Nitin Kumar spark Jaipur with early raids, narrowing the gap as the home crowd cheered. Yet, Alireza Mirzaian and Satyappa Matti kept Bengaluru’s seven-point buffer intact. A yellow card to Deepanshu Khatri left Jaipur at 21-15 entering the final stretch, forcing them to battle hard.
Bulls kept adding points steadily, dominating with five minutes left. A second yellow to Deepanshu Khatri dashed Jaipur’s comeback hopes. Satyappa Matti added his fourth tackle, and Alireza finished strong, securing the Bengaluru Bulls’ impressive 28-23 win in this PKL12 Jaipur showdown.
