Mumbai, India – Bollywood star Kajol celebrated her celebrity makeup artist friend Mickey Contractor’s birthday by posting a sweet Instagram video.
In the clip, Kajol and her daughter Nysa appear being glam‑ed up by Mickey. The footage shows how long they’ve been close, a friendship that started when Kajol was just a teenager.
She wrote on the post, “Happy birthday, Mickey! You did my first photo shoot when I was 15 ½ and now you’re still the best for Nysa’s big day.” Kajol praised Mickey for changing the game in the industry, calling him “a path‑breaker” who keeps it simple and grounded.
The actress shared a heartfelt note about the meaning of his work: “Thanks for everything you’ve done, and for staying true to yourself. Love you. Have a wonderful year.”
