A 3.6‑magnitude earthquake rattled the Doda district of Jammu & Kashmir early Monday morning. The National Center for Seismology (NCS) reported the tremor at 02:47 IST on October 6, 2025. It came from a shallow depth of just 5 km, with the epicentre near 33.10° N, 76.18° E.
So far, residents in Doda have not reported any injuries or damage. NCS tweeted the details: “EQ M: 3.6 – 06/10/2025 02:47 IST – Lat: 33.10 N, Long: 76.18 E – Depth: 5 km – Location: Doda, Jammu & Kashmir.”
