Jackky Bhagnani gives his own twist to the ‘Jhoom Sharabi’ hook step, wife Rakul reacts
Mumbai, Nov 4 – Actor‑filmmaker Jackky Bhagnani spiced up the popular “Jhoom Sharabi” hook step from his wife Rakul Preet Singh’s upcoming sequel De De Pyaar De 2.
Jumping into his gym space, Jackky posted a quick story on Instagram showing himself dancing to the track. Instead of the usual stylish glass, he balanced a dumbbell on his feet, mixing fitness with film fun. Toward the end, he tossed the weight out of the frame with a playful kick, showing off a quirky twist on the original choreography.
“I’m grateful to my wife @rakulpreet for the entertaining dance homework (sic)”, Jackky wrote. Rakul shared the clip on her own feed and laughed, “He understood the Jhoom Sharabi brief too well 🌹🔥”.
“Jhoom Sharabi” was sung and composed by Yo Yo Honey Singh and choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. When asked about working with Ajay Devgn on the new film, Honey Singh praised the energy, saying it “was pure fun and full of masti”. Acharya added that the number was crafted as a “full‑on uncle anthem”, capturing the carefree vibe of older dancers on the floor – a vibe Ajay nailed perfectly.
The film, directed by Anshul Sharma, brings back Ajay Devgn with Rakul, Gautami Kapoor, Ishita Dutta, Tabu, Jimmy Shergill, Alok Nath, and Inayat Sood. Tamannaah Bhatia and Prakash Raj make cameo appearances.
Produced by T‑Series (Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar) and Luv Films (Luv Ranjan & Ankur Garg), De De Pyaar De 2 will hit theaters on November 14. The release is expected to bring fresh music, vibrant dance numbers, and a party‑ready vibe that fans of Bollywood’s blockbuster movies love.
