Krushna Abhishek shares why Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh roasted him on the sets of ‘Laughter Chefs 3’
On Dec 11, LatestNewsX reported that Mumbai actor‑comedian Krushna Abhishek told a story from the set of “Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment Season 3” involving the Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh.
He explained why Pawan began poking fun at him during the shoot, saying, “All of us laughter chefs were very sure that we need a Bhojpuri expert if we’re going to make Bhojpuri dishes, and that’s when Pawan Ji walked in. Total sone pe suhaaga! His vibe, like his songs, is iconic. He sang, he danced with all of us, he brought that pure Bhojpuri sweetness that lifts the whole room.”
Adding that Pawan had the crew audition for a Bhojpuri film, roasted everyone, and guided them through dishes from his state like a true professional, the comedian noted, “I thoroughly enjoyed testing out my Bhojpuri and he was such a sport, laughing at punchlines and coming up with some of his own. This treat from Bihar is not to be missed.”
The next episode will feature Pawan Singh mentoring celebrity contestants in making traditional Bhojpuri cuisine. Season 3 stars Karan Kundrra, Elvish Yadav, Krushna Abhishek, Kashmera Shah, Aly Goni, Abhishek Kumar, Samarth Jurel and Jannat Zubair, and has added new faces such as Vivian Dsena, Eisha Singh, Isha Malviya, Tejasswi Prakash, Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee. Bharti Singh and chef Harpal Sokhi return as host and judge, respectively.
In other news, Pawan Singh has recently filed police complaints after receiving threats from someone claiming to be linked to the Bishnoi gang. He has lodged two separate alerts with the Mumbai Police about extortion threats allegedly tied to the Lawrence Bishnoi group, as well as a warning call that advised him against sharing a stage with Salman Khan, threatening “serious consequences” if he went ahead.
