Mohit Sehgal, best known for his role as Samrat in the beloved TV drama Miley Jab Hum Tum, relaxed in Goa with his mother just 11 months after his father’s death. The Mumbai‑based television star posted a short note on social media, saying the trip was “a reminder that life keeps moving forward” and that it was okay to pause and heal after such a loss.
In his Instagram caption, Mohit wrote, “11 months since I lost Dad, and this journey has been a reminder that life, while never the same, keeps moving forward. Took my mom to Goa to give her a much‑needed break and to remind ourselves that it’s okay to take time for healing.” He added that the holiday gave him a chance to “just breathe, relax, and get rid of the constant worries of life for some time.”
The actor thanked the team at JW Marriott Goa, calling their hospitality “incredible” and “like family.” “They made us feel like family from the moment we arrived, and their kindness truly made a difference in our journey," Mohit said.
Earlier, on September 24, Mohit celebrated the 17th anniversary of Miley Jab Hum Tum—the show that launched in “Miley Jab Hum Tum” 17 years ago—by posting a throwback photo of the original cast. He tagged co‑stars Arjun Bijlani, Sanaya Irani, Rati Pandey, Jaskaran Singh, Abhishek Sharma and Navina Bole, adding a heartfelt message and a red heart emoji.
