The production team has just dropped a thrilling update: the film’s worldwide theatrical release is now locked in for January 10, 2026, moved up from its original slot.

Fans were initially gearing up for a Pongal festival debut on January 14, but this bold shift promises an even hotter start to the year.

Dawn Pictures, the powerhouse behind the film, lit up their social media with the official word: “We wish to inform the media, trade, and audiences that the release of ‘Parasakthi’ has been preponed to January 10, 2026. This decision has been taken after extensive discussions and repeated requests from exhibitors and distributors worldwide, who have expressed strong confidence in the film’s theatrical potential during this period. ‘Parasakthi’ will now release in theatres worldwide on January 10, 2026.”

The movie has fans and cinephiles buzzing with anticipation. Just last week of November, Sivakarthikeyan dove into dubbing sessions, fueling the hype even more.

Dawn Pictures shared a captivating video of the star lending his powerful voice under Sudha Kongara’s watchful eye, captioning it: “When his voice turns into a storm.@sivakarthikeyan begins dubbing for #Parasakthi – Coming to theatres on January 14th.”

Adding to the authenticity, leading lady Sreeleela and villain Ravi Mohan have completed their dubbing too—with Sreeleela delivering her lines in her own distinctive voice, a standout choice for the project.

The shoot wrapped officially on October 21, following the completion of their Pollachi schedule back in August.

Production kicked off with the first schedule in Madurai, jetted to Sri Lanka for the second, and wrapped the third in Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, crafting a rich tapestry of locations.

Set against the vibrant 1960s backdrop of the erstwhile Madras state, ‘Parasakthi’—once buzzed as #SK25, Sivakarthikeyan’s 25th venture—has sparked massive intrigue nationwide.

A pulse-pounding teaser unveils the action at Pachaiyappa’s College in Madras, where Sivakarthikeyan storms door-to-door on a mission. Portrayed as a bold leader rallying students for a fierce uprising against an oppressive regime—highlighted by a defiant wall slogan flipping from ‘Students – do not touch’ to ‘Do not touch students’—the clip crackles with rebellion.

It also hints at high-stakes drama, with Ravi Mohan’s shadowy character plotting to take down Sivakarthikeyan’s fearless protagonist.

Powering this epic are G V Prakash‘s stirring score, Ravi K Chandran’s masterful cinematography, and adrenaline-fueled stunts by Supreme Sundar.
