UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Solomon Islands Prime Minister Jeremiah Maenele on the sidelines of the 80th UN General Assembly in New York. The meeting happened on September 24 and focused on strengthening ties between the UAE and Solomon Islands.
The two leaders discussed ways to boost bilateral relations, especially in areas that align with their shared interests and support long-term economic growth. They also touched on key topics from the UN General Assembly agenda.
Abdullah bin Zayed stressed the UAE’s strong interest in building deeper connections with the Solomon Islands. He highlighted opportunities to advance cooperation that helps both nations meet their development goals.
Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, the UAE Minister of State, joined the meeting.
