ZEE5 to stream Kesariya@100, a docuseries capturing RSS’ 100-year journey anchored by Nitish Bharadwaj

Mumbai, Nov 28 (LatestNewsX) – ZEE5 announced on Friday that it will launch Kesariya@100, a documentary series that traces a full century of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The first episode is slated to premiere on December 12, 2025, and promises a meticulously researched journey through the RSS’s evolution, one of India’s most influential volunteer movements.
Designed to hook viewers, the series gives rich historical background, layered viewpoints, and detailed documentation of India’s socio‑cultural landscape. Hosted by Nitish Bharadwaj, Kesariya@100 revisits landmark chapters—from Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar’s founding vision to the organization’s relief work during national crises. It also examines how the RSS has built communities, launched educational initiatives, and led during key historical junctures.
Each episode focuses on a distinct era or theme, offering audiences a deep understanding of the movement’s transformation over the years. To tease the premiere, ZEE5’s social‑media channel shared a short clip, captioned: “Sadi bhar ki parampara, tyag aur nirmaan! RSS ki yeh kahaani ab poora desh dekhega.”
In the teaser, Nitish Bharadwaj walks viewers through the RSS’s rugged 100‑year saga, showing rare archival footage and photographs alongside factual commentary. By blending old clips, expert insights, firsthand accounts, and cinematic recreations, the series turns complex moments of India’s past into a format that today’s audiences can easily grasp.
Stories of flood relief, uniting spiritual leaders during periods of division, and quietly building schools and health centres in remote villages are all highlighted, painting a portrait of quiet determination, resilience, and unwavering patriotism.
