But amid the excitement, the makers are cracking down on piracy to protect their hard work. On Thursday, production house Dawn Pictures issued a strong warning: "Any leaked or pirated content of #IdliKadai will be removed instantly without warning. Strict legal action will be taken against those promoting or distributing pirated copies." They also called on fans to help out by reporting any pirated links or spoilers right away, emphasizing, "Protect cinema. Report pirated content or spoilers immediately—your support is the industry’s strongest defense." They even shared easy links for submissions.
Idli Kadai has built massive hype with its star-studded cast. Arun Vijay takes on the antagonist role, Shalini Pandey shines in a key part, and veteran Sathyaraj adds his flair. Dhanush, who both stars in and directs the film, teamed up with Wunderbar Films and Dawn Pictures for production. Kiran Koushik handled the cinematography, while G V Prakash composed the music.
