Erika Kirk said Monday that she had a constructive discussion with Candace Owens, suggesting the two may be moving past weeks of public friction that followed the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
Kirk shared the update in a short post on X, signaling that the conversation could lead to more developments soon.
“Had a very productive conversation with @RealCandaceO,” Kirk wrote. “More to come from both of us. Looking forward to AmFest this week. Time to get back to work.”
Owens later confirmed the exchange in her own post, saying the conversation lasted several hours and turned out to be far more productive than she expected.
“Erika and I had an extremely productive 4 1/2 hour meeting that I think we both feel should have taken place a lot earlier than it did,” Owens said.
She added that, while there were still disagreements, the two women found common ground on more issues than anticipated.
“We agreed much more than I had anticipated. Of course, we also disagreed on various points and people as well,” Owens wrote. “Most importantly, we were able to share intel and clarify intent.”
Owens said the discussion helped quickly ease tensions and hinted that more details would be shared soon.
“I will of course have a full rundown for you all tomorrow as I am currently exhausted,” she added. “But I wanted to quickly let you guys know that absolutely nothing was held back and the immediate result was that tensions were thawed.”
The exchange appears to mark a step toward reconciliation after weeks of online disputes and conspiracy-related accusations that surfaced in the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s killing.
