Mumbai, Dec 11 (LatestNewsX) – Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan took to his Instagram Stories to gush over the new film “Dhurandhar,” explaining that watching it made him remember why he first fell in love with cinema.
In the post, the actor revealed that Aditya Dhar’s debut feature will hit U.S. screens on December 5. He wrote, “I love cinema, I love people who climb into a vortex and let the story take control, spin them shake them until what they want to say is purged out of them onto that screen. DHURANDAR is an example of that. Loved the storytelling. It’s cinema.”
Hrithik went on to say that although he may “disagree with the politics of it” and believes directors have certain civic duties, the sheer artistry on display is simply impossible to ignore. “I may disagree with the politics of it, and argue about the responsibilities us filmmakers should bear as citizens of the world. Nevertheless, I can’t ignore how I loved and learnt from this one as a student of cinema. Amazing,” he added.
He also confessed that the film keeps replaying in his mind and saluted the director as “an incredible maker.” The star gave a special shout‑out to Akshaye Khanna as well, noting that Khanna has always been his favourite. “#akshaykhanna has always been my fav and this film is proof why.”
Hrithik praised Ranveer Singh and R. Madhavan too, saying, “@ranveersingh the silent to the fierce what a journey and so damn consistent. @actormaddy bloody mad grace, strength, and dignity!!”
He was especially impressed by Rakesh Bedi’s performance: “But man @rakeshbedi what you did was phenomenal… what an ACT, brilliant !! A huge big round of applause for everyone especially the makeup and prosthetics dept!”
The actor wrapped up by teasing his anticipation for the sequel. “I can’t wait for part 2 !!!” he concluded. dc/
