Farah Khan wishes for Shah Rukh Khan to ‘rule for another 100 years’ on his birthday
Mumbai, Nov 2 – Shah Rukh Khan turned 60 today and the film world celebrated with a flurry of social‑media messages.
Farah Khan, the director of Main Hoon Na and former choreographer, posted a heartfelt note on Instagram: “Happy birthday KING @iamsrk … rule for another 100 years.” She also shared two personal photos from Khan’s birthday party at his Alibaug house. In one picture the Bollywood superstar leans in for a cheek‑kiss, while the other shows Farah giving him a hug.
The photos showed both stars in casual outfits – Shah Rukh in a grey t‑shirt, matching trousers and a white beanie; Farah in a pink top and black pants. The images are believed to have been taken at the private celebration that took in close friends and family.
Designer Manish Malhotra joined the online chatter, wishing “The one and only @iamsrk” a happy birthday and congratulating him on his enduring style and charisma.
Even regional leaders made a presence. West Bengal’s Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee tweeted a warm birthday message for Khan, praising his contribution to Indian cinema.
Looking ahead, Shah Rukh is set to headline Siddharth Anand’s upcoming film King. The project will also mark the first time he works with his daughter, Suhana Khan. The star’s 60th birthday celebrations and his new movie have already become top topics for Bollywood fans worldwide.
