Chennai – In a dramatic finish, the Bengal Warriorz edged past Dabang Delhi K.C. 37‑36 in a thrilling Season 12 clash of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) at the SDAT Multi‑Purpose Indoor Stadium.
The match started fast. Ankit’s tackle on Dabang’s defence set up the Bengal captain’s raid for a two‑point lead. Although the Delhi side regrouped with a two‑point raid from Naveen Rawal, the Warriors stayed on top thanks to a Super 10 from Devank Dalal and a High Five by Ashish Malik.
Devank Dalal’s steady attack, paired with Himanshu Narwal’s powerful raids, kept Bengal ahead. Dabang fought back, with Ajinkya Pawar and Neeraj Narwal pulling the score level at 19‑18 at halftime.
In the second half, Bengal’s defence tightened. Anurag Kumar’s Super Tackle and a tackle from Parteek forced the first All‑Out of the game, but the lead never widened past a single point. Five minutes before the end, Manjeet and Ashish Malik’s double super tackles pushed the Warriors ahead by five points. Dabang answered with Neeraj Narwal’s All‑Out, trimming the margin back to one.
With the score at 33‑32, Devank Dalal finished his Super 10, and Ashish Malik capped his High Five. A quick raid from Mohit Deswal and a crucial tackle by Fazel Atrachali kept the pressure on. As the clock ticked down, a final unsuccessful raid by Himanshu Narwal sealed the win for Bengal Warriorz.
The victory moves Bengal to ninth place on the PKL points table and fuels their bid for a playoff spot. Fans celebrated a remarkable comeback capped off by a nail‑biting finish at the SDAT stadium.
