Jaipur, Dec 6 (LatestNewsX) – Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal took to the floor in Jodhpur to launch a harsh critique of the Rajasthan administration, warning that the state’s law‑and‑order climate is worsening at a dangerous pace.
He claimed that drug smuggling, gang conflicts and administrative chaos are on the rise, all while the government keeps flipping its commitments. According to Beniwal, the situation has become so dire that Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has reportedly received threats on five separate occasions. “If even the Chief Minister feels unsafe, what can ordinary citizens expect?” he asked, lambasting the police force for its failures and accusing many officers of lacking accountability.
Beniwal also called into question the inner workings of the government, noting widespread confusion over who truly holds sway. He accused the BJP government of backtracking on key matters such as the paper‑leak scandal and reforms to RPSC recruitment. In a scathing comparison, he said the BJP and Congress operate in Rajasthan without any meaningful distinction.
The MP went on to allege that former CM Ashok Gehlot’s former allies, once embroiled in the phone‑tapping controversy, have now joined the current administration and hold influential posts. “Those who once tapped phones for Gehlot are now close to CM Bhajan Lal Sharma,” he asserted.
Additionally, Beniwal singled out IndiGo Airlines, pointing out the uncertainty surrounding the carrier’s flight operations in the state. He accused the airline of openly challenging the state machinery. “If a private airline can defy the government during an active Parliamentary session, it points to a serious governance failure,” he warned, demanding decisive action against the carrier.
