Top Indian women golfers are gearing up for an exciting showdown in Gurugram, Haryana, as the 13th leg of the Women Pro Golf Tour 2025 kicks off this week. This key domestic event serves as the final tune-up before the prestigious Women Indian Open, set to take place at the DLF Golf and Country Club. That major tournament will also feature the US$500,000 Hero Women Indian Open, drawing international stars to the course.
With a hefty prize purse of Rs. 23 lakhs, this WPGT stop has attracted a strong field of 44 players, making it one of the season’s highlights for Indian women in golf. Leading the pack are seasoned pros like Amandeep Drall, who finished as runner-up at the Women Indian Open in 2022. She’s joined by Vani Kapoor, Sneha Singh, Seher Atwal, Gaurika Bishnoi, and Heena Kang, all using this event to sharpen their skills ahead of the Ladies European Tour competition.
Amateur golfers are adding some fresh energy too, with rising talents like Mannat Brar, Zara Anand, Mahreen Bhatia, and Ananyaa Sood ready to impress. Other promising amateurs teeing off include Lavanya Gupta, Ridhima Singh, Anuradha Chaudhuri, and Anvvi Dahiya. Gaurika Bishnoi, who boasts a solid track record at the Hero Women Indian Open, is especially focused on building momentum for the big event.
