Virat Karrna’s ‘Nagabandham’ unit begins filming of ‘Om Veera Naga’ song on special Shivalaya set
Hyderabad – The next big set‑up for director Abhishek Nama’s upcoming pan‑India blockbuster “Nagabandham” is underway. The film, starring Virat Karn, Nabha Natesh and Iswarya Menon, is now filming the devotional track “Om Veera Naga” on a custom‑built Shivalaya temple at Ramanaidu Studios.
Sources close to the shoot say the scene will be a standout moment, with huge, intricate sets created by art director Ashok Kumar and his crew. Every detail of the temple is meant to amplify the film’s spiritual vibe and showcase Lord Shiva’s grandeur.
The music for the song comes from the creative team of Abhe and Junaid Kumar, while Sri Harsha penned the lyrics. Cinematographer Ganesh Acharya has taken the lead in choreographing the number, and Soundar Rajan S is handling the overall cinematography for the film.
“Nagabandham” also features star power in the supporting cast, including Jagapathi Babu, Jayaprakash, Murali Sharma and B.S. Avinash. The story, written by director Abhishek Nama and Gandhari with dialogues by Kalyan Chakravarthy, explores the hidden secrets of India’s ancient Vishnu temples, focusing on the legendary Nagabandham ritual. The plot draws inspiration from real treasure finds at Padmanabhaswamy and Puri Jagannath temples, weaving myth and modern adventure into a compelling narrative.
The film will release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, under the tagline “The Secret Treasure.” Production is led by Kishore Annapureddy and Nishitha Nagireddy, while Santosh Kamireddy is in charge of editing.
With its mix of mythic intrigue and high‑energy song sequences, “Nagabandham” is shaping up to be a blockbuster hit for audiences across India.
