India will host the United Nations Troop Contributing Countries (UNTCC) Chiefs Conclave in New Delhi from October 14‑16, 2025. The two‑day event will bring together more than 30 top military leaders from around the world to talk about the future of UN peacekeeping, share best practices and address new security challenges.
The announcement was shared on X by the Additional Directorate General of Public Information (ADGPI), which highlighted the conclave’s goal of boosting cooperation among countries that supply troops to UN missions. In a live message from Kyrgyzstan’s Chief of the General Staff, the delegation reaffirmed its commitment to global peacekeeping.
Ahead of the main event, a curtain‑raiser took place at Manekshaw Centre on October 1. Lt Gen Rakesh Kapoor, Deputy Chief of Army Staff (IS&T), briefed participants on the conclave’s agenda and underscored India’s role as one of the world’s largest troop‑contributing nations. He stressed that the gathering would strengthen dialogue, willingness to collaborate, and shared understanding among UN partner countries.
India’s hosting reflects its long‑standing dedication to world stability. The nation’s army will showcase its operational experience, innovations and success stories, hoping the conclave will lay the groundwork for deeper partnership and a stronger, more prepared peace‑keeping community. ()
