Censor Board clears Teja Sajja-starrer ‘Mirai’ for release with U/A certificate

Great news for movie fans! The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has finally given the green light to the much-talked-about pan-Indian film Mirai. Directed by Karthik Gattamaneni, this superhero thriller starring Teja Sajja in the lead role now carries a U/A certificate, making it perfect for kids, families, and everyone who loves action-packed stories.

Teja Sajja himself shared the exciting update on his X (formerly Twitter) account. " #MIRAI Censored with 𝐔/𝐀. A CLEAN FILM for KIDS, FAMILIES and ALL SECTIONS OF AUDIENCE to experience Action, Emotion & Devotion on the big screens. GRAND RELEASE WORLDWIDE ON 12th SEPTEMBER," he posted. Fans are buzzing with excitement, and it’s easy to see why – Mirai has been building massive hype as a game-changer in the superhero genre.

If you’re new to the film, let’s catch you up. Just a few days ago, the makers revealed that veteran actor Jagapathy Babu steps into the shoes of ‘Angama Bali’, the fierce protector of Tantra. Before that, they introduced Ritika Nayak as the character Vibha, adding more depth to the storyline. And don’t miss Manoj Manchu as the scary antagonist – he’s set to deliver some intense moments. The cast also shines with Shriya Saran and Jayaram in key roles, promising a mix of emotion, devotion, and high-stakes action.

Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under the banner of People Media Factory – the team behind hits like Karthikeya 2 and JaatMirai marks a big leap in their pan-India ambitions. Karthik Gattamaneni isn’t just the director; he also handled the cinematography and wrote the screenplay. Manibabu Karanam chipped in with the writing and sharp dialogues, while Sri Nagendra Tangala created the film’s stunning visual world as the art director. Sujith Kumar Kolli served as the executive producer, ensuring everything came together smoothly.

What makes Mirai stand out? Sources say it features a record number of VFX shots, and the teaser already wowed everyone with its epic scale and breathtaking visuals. Get ready for a visual treat in both 2D and 3D formats!

Mark your calendars – Mirai hits theaters worldwide on September 12, releasing in eight languages. If you’re into superhero movies, family entertainers, or just a good emotional ride, this one’s not to miss. Stay tuned for more updates on this blockbuster!
